Path of life!

"We want that education by which character is formed,
strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded,
and by which one can stand on one's own feet.."
Swami Vivekanand

We all are impressed by the great personalities. Read their biographies, autobiographies but somehow fail to extract the essence out of it. In today's world, I personally observe that there is cut-throat competition and the moral essence of education is loosing out. Not many of us study because we are enjoying the knowledge gained but instead like junk box we are only accommodating facts and figures that we can show and show off. No more the education is cherished but like wealth and riches education is also considered as a commodity. Practical application of education is only how you make yourself smart enough to dupe the others. The real humbleness, honesty, fairness is crushed. One who is with all these attributes is now considered useless, not fit for today's world. But still some people strive and choose to be what is considered ill-fit. History is example of those ill-fit people only, that is the essence we are loosing out, missing out. In haste and in hurry to be successful we choose easy and short-cut. But we forget that success has no short-cut, it is the path where no one has walked before, it is different, difficult and unique for every one. During our journey we though see some milestones and imprints of some great people, whose carved paths are crossing our newly carved path, that gives strength and will to carry on.
That is what education is all about, " stand on your feet and march along......................"

There are three kinds of people:

People who can watch the things happening
People who look into how things are happening
People who can make the things happen....

Let us make things happen..................
